Prayer & Intercession Ministry

Prayer and intercession are important functions here at PCCC. We consider it an honor to stand before God on behalf of others.

OUR MISSION:

Seek His face: Pursue those things that attract God's presence: repentance, holiness, humility, unity, praise and worship.

Know His heart: becoming intimate with the Father; He will build His kingdom through us and reveal His son, Jesus Christ, in us, through the power of the Holy Spirit!

Learn His ways: Set aside our own agenda's. Stop trying to accomplish the will of God using human wisdom and man's opinions about doing God's will.

WEEKLY PRAYER MEETINGS:

As a ministry we meet weekly on Thursday nights at 7:00 p.m. to pray for our Pastors, our leaders, our nation, the congregation and overseas nations. We'd love for you to come join as we cry out to God for His hand to move among us.

MONTHLY FAST:

Every first Sunday of the month, the congregation meets in the early hours of the day to seek the face of our Lord in a day of fasting, prayer and communion.

NIGHT VIGILS:

Occasionally, the PCCC family gathers together to pray for the congregation, the community and the world in organized Prayer Vigils. On the still silence of the night, we offer before the Lord all the prayer intentions coming to us through post, phone, e-mail and fax. In this service, prayer, praise and worship, a Scripture message and adoration are included. On that evening, many families unite themselves with PCCC in keeping vigil. Wherever you are on that time on the day, you can keep vigil with PCCC and join in the prayers.

MARKETPLACE INTERCESSION:

The Marketplace Intercession is geared towards business leaders, and business owners who are committed to pray for and give prophetic counsel and input to businesses, business owners, business leaders, and their families. We seek to network with marketplace ministers throughout the country, with a view to releasing the kingdom of God in the culture, the community, and the economy. This effort is established to help business owners and executives encounter the Lord in a deeper way by offering prophetic revelation of their purpose and calling to the marketplace.

We see this ministry releasing the transforming grace of God within the world of commerce to bring redemption and righteousness to the business community.
 

PASTORAL PRAYER MEETINGS:

The Vision: To facilitate relationships between pastors, intercessors and Christian Leaders in Passaic County, by encouraging them to pray and seek God together as the spiritual leadership in their communities. To bring praying Christians together in coordinated strategic intercession.

• Build relationships between pastors and other Christian leaders in Passaic County.

• Provide prayer covering for spiritual leaders.

• To see a reduction in crime rates and social ills, (teenage pregnancy, drugs, corruption, gangs, domestic violence, divorce, and burglary).

• To pray for our political and elected officials

• Periodic citywide prayer meetings

• To bring understanding and release of intercessory prayer ministry in the body of Christ.

• Change the spiritual climate from religious tradition, legalism and complacency to one of spiritual life.

• To pray for our churches to reach their potential in Christ.

• To make it difficult for Passaic County to enter the gates of hell.
   

TRAINING:

We believe that an effective prayer ministry is more than a program, weekly prayer meeting, or spiritual discipline. More than prayer lists, prayer chains, and prayer walks, it is a lifestyle of connecting with God. At PCCC, we seek to train Christians to pray effectively and fervently.
