Beloved brethren and friends of PCCC:

It began as a dream, an idea, and a vision over six years ago. It was a vision that grew out of a need. Although there were over 50 congregations in our immediate community, we knew of many folks that were either staying home or not attending any church.  The Lord placed a burden, a passion and a vision to lift up the fallen and restore them to the community of faith.  For over 6 years, PCCC has been used by God to reach, restore and edify many lives.  Many have come to the saving knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.  After all these years, we see the need to have our own installations to house our worship center, classrooms, counseling center and offices.

The vision became a drawing, an architect’s idea committed to paper. Committees started to meet. Fund raising for our house had begun the moment we started the ministry.  But now it was evident that we needed to take these efforts to another level.

In December 2009, we made an offer to acquire a property located in the Riverside Section of Paterson, New Jersey which was accepted by its current owners. 

We have taken a step of faith.  We have before us a challenging goal in sight - a goal we believe fulfills God’s mission for our congregation and community. We can’t get there in one leap, however. So we’re starting the journey one step at a time, stepping out in faith, even in a time of economic uncertainty.

In this journey, we know that God will prove Himself to be faithful once again.  But at the same time, he challenges our faith by asking us to make a commitment of faith.  We are persuaded that together, united with our Lord, we can fulfill this vision of “Uniting Generations to Change the World”.
